IT Consulting...

What IT solutions make sense for your business?

You want your systems to run smoothly and securely so you can focus on what you do best. We want to ensure that we are proactive both on the surface and behind the scenes.

We want you to be able to make informed decisions about the technology in your business. We work with you to help you understand the risks and rewards of the IT decisions on the table, and we truly enjoy helping your business IT systems become more powerful in accelerating your productivity.

Implementing...

We implement practical and real-world IT solutions.

As much as possible, we curate reliable solutions and "building blocks" that we can trust to meet our security, reliability, and affordability expectations. We continually work to improve our processes and process documentation to make our standard solutions even better. One of our company values is "Always Innovating.” Even in implementation, we encourage our people to improve processes and solutions we've already built. Often implementing better security solutions means more inconvenience, and that’s a reality we all have to live with in many areas of our lives. We work hard to discover and implement solutions that meet today’s demanding security needs yet minimize inconvenience as much as possible.

Another of our company values, “Do the right thing,” is evident in what we implement. For example, the cheapest solution is rarely the right one, regardless of industry. It’s also rare that the most expensive one is the right one. We balance effectiveness, ease of use, security, and budget to gain the best value. And we’re often re-evaluating our solutions and looking at new ones, shifting to better solutions as we find them.

Supporting...

We believe support means more than just fixing things when they break.

  • Our Consultants among us work to balance security, convenience, reliability, and affordability requirements. They research, test and design new solutions they prepare for customer network implementation.

  • Our Support Engineers help bring projects to life and help build structures that protect your business and enable you to use your IT effectively. They also mentor and work with Support Technicians, helping with escalation issues.

  • Our Support Technicians do most of the hands-on, onsite, and face-to-face work to maintain, uplift, and improve the day-to-day experience of your IT infrastructure.

Once we've helped you choose and implement a smart solution, we need to support it during its lifecycle. That means continuing to improve the machine-works of monitoring and auto-fix technologies we've implemented so that we reduce how often things break. That means always learning and growing our skills to understand what we should proactively do to strengthen your networks' security. That means when you contact us for help, we’ve documented as much as possible so that you see what we’ve done and have helpful information should a similar event occur again.

Supporting you in your business with your IT systems means striving to make those systems work as efficiently as possible and providing you with as much value as they can as long as they live.

Technical Sales…

We strive to provide you with great value IT products.

Selling the right products isn’t easy. To “Do the Right Thing” in business starts internally and extends to every area of our business, from internal processes to whatever we do for our customers. Some of the pillars of our sales mission are:

  • Standardization - We work to minimize the chaos of having too many kinds of one product type in your business. Standardization improves productivity (more people are familiar with fewer products), reduces support time and downtime (more technicians are familiar with fewer products), and overall saves IT costs.

  • Quality - We look for products and standardize on ones that deliver high quality. There’s a diminishing return on spending more money on products of any kind, so we try to find that sweet spot where we get the best quality. We want your IT investments to last as long as possible, so providing higher-quality products is paramount.

  • Availability - Even with global supply chain issues that are now improving, we have struggled, along with many of our peers, to get the products we need for our customers. Still, we won’t compromise on our values to get lower-quality products just because they are in stock. We’ll usually move to a step up in a product if we have to, and we’ll communicate that clearly to you, providing you with the choice to get the product sooner or wait longer.

  • The Right Product - Sometimes, we get requests for products that seem “overkill” for users. We’ll talk with them to understand their needs and, if needed, talk to their purchasing approver to ensure we’re not overselling a product. We don’t want to grab a high-ticket item sale just because that was requested. Our relationship with our customers is more important than making a big sale of the wrong product. We want you to trust that we’ve got your best interests in mind.
